2009年9月7日至9日，由副厅长帕吉玛女士率领的泰国智慧财产厅代表团一行8人访问商标局，了解交流商标局在商标国际注册、自动化建设等方面的情况。访问期间，李建昌局长与帕吉玛女士举行了会谈，赵刚副局长陪同代表团参观了商标局，商标局国际注册处、计算机处等有关处室的负责人向代表团详尽介绍了商标局商标国际注册、商标审查自动化方面的情况。泰方代表团还与国际合作司、商标评审委员会进行了交流。

据泰方介绍，泰国计划加入商标国际注册马德里体系，此次访问国家工商总局商标局，是经世界知识产权组织推荐，专程学习了解中国在马德里商标国际注册方面的经验和做法。帕吉玛女士访问过程中表示，此次访问了解了中国的做法和经验，将对泰国加入商标国际注册马德里体系提供帮助。

DIP delegation visited CTMO

On September 7-9, 2009, the delegation of Department of Intellectual Property (DIP), Ministry of Commerce, Thailand, led by DIP Deputy Director General Mrs. Pajchima, paid a three-day working visit to CTMO. It is said that Thailand is going to join the Madrid System. Recommended by WIPO, the Thailand delegation is here to study and learn from China’s experiences in the field of Madrid system implementation and paperless work process. During the visit, Mr. Li Jianchang, Director general of Trademark Office, held talks with the Thailand delegation. The International Cooperation Department and TRAB under SAIC held discussions with the guests as well.
